No.  It's so easy to change the filter on our cars its almost
silly(before anyone says anything about the 1 screw and the clip in
back, go take a look at a 10vt, or one of the cars that requires
removing major components, like headlights to get at the filter.)

Neither do I. If you have an NA car that's fully worked over to the
point where the filter is a major restriction, I can see a high-flow
filter for, say, a track car.  On a turbo car?  You MIGHT get
SLIGHTLY better spoolup, but the filter on the 200q20v is
considerably larger than the 10v, and I think it's plenty.

Nope.  One K&N starter kit buys almost a lifetime worth of paper
filters, and as  Peter pointed out, the reason they flow more is
'cause they let bigger stuff by.

Steer especially clear of 'cone' filters, and don't modify the airbox.
