Fwd: 1991 200 turbo Quattro 20V with rotor/engine issues

Hard to end this thread as it seems there is always a last word...this
vehicle must not be touched by the dealership any further than it has
been, which has been said. There are excellent independents in the
Virginia area where the car currently sits. What hasn't been ruined will
be if this dealership proceeds any further, either accidentally or
perhaps even deliberately.
Many distributors with fiber gears have failed with similar symptoms.
I plan to check this car out to the extent that at the very least no
dealership ends up with it in their hands. It will be mine if Bill
chooses to part with it before "they" get it.
