Code 2224?

Hello All,

Had - yet again - some rather severe bucking (fuel cutoff I presume??) under
full boost (~1.7bar)/throttle.  Checked for codes & found a 2224 which is an
overboost condition.  Any immediate thoughts on causes?  WGFV perhaps?
Further data:  after this occurs, if I start to again get into the throttle,
I'll get a similar cutout while only achieving maybe 1.3bar and seems to even
get progressively worse until I operate at more a steady-state condition for
a mile or two...  Any input is appreciated; no crisis as I don't demand full
boost all that frequently but would like to sort it out... TIA.
