Some info on the rubber gasket and O-Rings used for the coolant manifold,

If memory serves me, the intake manifold doesn't have to be removed in
order to remove the coolant manifold on the 3B engines, but it would help
in the case where the allen bolts seize up in the manifold and break off.
Can't remember if I had to remove the power steering pump.......or the fuel
pressure regulator......

Use lots of pentrating fluid to soak those allen bolts before you crack
them loose. Doing it with the engine warm may help.
