20V Radiator Plastic vs Metal

My mind is rested now, that the all metal is better. If the plastic
fails you are totally dead in the road. The metal radiator at least
gives you some warning and is fixable to get you back on the highway.
I am always fearful with the plastic to take a long road trip. How do
you get a replacement radiator in Iola,Kansas or wherever without days
of down time?
An all metal radiator can be welded and repaired almost anywhere.
Just curious, how many have had to replace the auxiliary radiator and if
so why?
