Yes, of course the bypass valve was replaced early on (in fact the first
maintenance I did on this car). What I referred to is _low_ (very low) end
power not at all a boost problem (I doubt that a leaking bypass valve will
have a noticable effect at 1500 rpm, but I could be wrong). The car is
greaty at the top end.
