Thanks to all for the replies regarding my alternator. I think it's fine.
I guess what got me worried is that on my A4 when I turn the car on and put
the lights on, they do not come on dim then brighten when I rev the motor.
But i feel comfortable now.
What about my deal with all headlights going out when I click on the
brights? Any other ideas? Double checking grounds has been suggested--and
I will, as soon as I get the car back from the exhaust shop. Would
reversing the 2 wires to the brights(where they connect to the bulb) cause
this??
Thanks again-
Brandon
