airbag warning light

My airbag warning light will not go off after removing the steering wheel
(recall on airbag was done).

Does everyone still agree:

a. the car is safe to drive
b. it is probably a code the dealer can reset
c. disconnecting the airbag for now is not necessary

The archive thread addresses this issue.  Is that the final word.....

PS  Just back from Le Tour de France.  I still think driving in Europe is
more fun than driving here...it must be all the scooters darting thru
traffic that keeps your adrenaline pumping.
