I don't know what to make of those numbers.  Can you not ever get
anything above 1.4 bar except in 1st gear? That is poor. Doesn't seem
like a BPV issue, though.

Have you done any "standard" testing of maximum boost? The "official"
test (at least for the stock '91 200q) is done in 4th gear with WOT
applied below 2K and maximum boost recorded at 3000 RPM. You oughta
be able to see maximum (22 psi, for you) by about 3K. Helps to do the
test on a slide uphill grade--or is that cheating? :)

Did you replace the vac hose (or verify that it's intact) when you
installed the new BPV? Vac hose faces forward!!!
