Coolant loss and Water Pump

You can buy a glue on replacement nipple from Audi for about $20.  See if you
can find all the pieces of the broken nipple while installing.  I did this
repair to my old 5000 Avant at about 200k miles to the original radiator, and
it is still holding for the current owner at 345k.

I would do the repair and start the motor and watch the heat gauge.  You can
look at the exhaust for moisture vapor and watch the coolant level.

I suspect that you are probably fine.
