The 90q coupes seem to sport them more often than the sedans, but both should have them. I've seen them in every coup I've serviced to date. Unfortunately, it's prone to delamination, and can be replaced by the metal version. I've also understood that very loud complaints by customers (this goes back a few years)were probono.
I really don't see the advantage of them. I didn't weigh when I did the R&R, but the monstrous size of that composite shaft also felt about as heavy as the clunker.
