Understand, IMO2, it really matters not whether someone has a personal gain, in fact, I argue if the value of a GP is good enough, the originator *should* get a personal gain for the hassle. It's still a good deal for everyone. Separate argument that misses the point...
The *call* by a listmeister on what is pure and what is "personal gain" is the point. As a GP member I don't have to know that your "deal" is pure, don't care actually, it's either better than what I can get alone. Or not. As apposed to anyone having to see if any "claims" are true, why not just delegate it to a list or marketplace. IMO, marketplace fits what it is, a group buy of goods offered by a seller, mediated/coordinated or not.
John, "personal gain" doesn't matter, and claiming it (anyone) doesn't always mean it's true. It just needs a more objective place in which to reside outside of a listmeisters subjective evaluation. It's that simple.
I'm not accusing you of anything, cuz it doesn't change the argument, the point of my post, or the price of my clutch kits.
