ECU Bummer

I don't have one to compare it to, but I imagine you should be able to tell
where the capicator broke off from either by some portion of the metal
contact legs remaining on the board, damage to the board, or some solder
remanants.

As to finding a replacement, I know locally (Seattle area) there are quite a
few electronic supply companies who have parts on hand. You can find them
in the yellow pages. Another source I used was a local Amp repair shop.
Then there's always Digikey, but they'll charge you an extra 5$ for
packaging at the price a cap costs.

Somehow in the process of exposing the ECU circuit boards so I could
remove the pressure transducer a capacitor broke off one of the boards!
Please help me with two things:

1. How to identify where it broke off from. I have a jpeg photo of the
boards if anyone has theirs open and can compare mine against theirs. I
think I know where it goes but want to be certain. I'll email you the
photo.

2. Where to get another capacitor?

Hoping with all my might that there are answers to these questions out
there. And as always, thanks in advance. Steve
