That's how I have always done valve seals. I should have stopped to think
about it before hitting send.
Bernie, would you care to enlighten us on the procedure for replacing valve
seals with the head still on the car. What is your trick to keep the valves
from falling once the retainer is removed? Air pressure? Stuff the cylinder
with rope through the spark plug hole?
Do you recommend the seal removal tool or the overhead cam valve spring
compressor tool?
