Valve seal replacement

The rope trick will work great, since you don't have an air compressor.
I've used a cylinder filled with rope to pop a stuck head off before.
Just put the piston BDC, feed in some rope (leave some outside!), then
turn the crank until you feel some resistance. When you are done, turn
the crank back and pull out the rope.
