Wheel Bearing

Nothing else sounds like a failing wheel bearing, but which one?
I'll fwd my Wheel Bearing Postmortum of 11/01 FYI.  Life expectancy, 1 to 3K
without intervening maintaince. What is "premature bearing failure"?
