Heater Question

There's a little motor assembly inside the flap controller on the driver
side of the heater core box.  The motor has some sort of variable
electrical control that determines where the motor moves to in response to
the temperature sensors inside the vehicle.  That thing deteriorates with
age.  There is a $60 or so replacement for the motor that solves the "go to
cold air" syndrome.  It was discussed early in January on the
subject  "heater flap feedback-potentiometer".
