A few of years ago, while visiting Salisbury Motor Car, I recall
encountering an insurance adjuster (representing Fram) who was there
to get an repair estimate for an I-5 engine rebuild. The work was
needed because of Fram filter disintegration. So they evidently will
pay--at least under some circumstances.
