1 cup rubbermaid container(I believe a "number 6"? In any case, 1 cup.)
PIck up a compressor fitting. Drill a hole smaller than the
compressor fitting's threaded end(obviously one of those start-small,
work-your-way up deals), and man-handle that sucker in there with a
pair of vise grips...from INSIDE the cup.
Attach bottom of cup to hose coming off the MAF(only the bottom fits,
top is too wide, I believe).
Portable 1 gallon air tanks(which, of course, you've put a compressor
fitting on) are especially handy...dead silent, and you can piss off
your fellow(former?) 200q20v friends at Audi events by showing them
how many intake leaks they have(despite Frank Sprongl's successes,
might be best to not mention duct tape.)
Oh, and for those on heart medication and stuff, the dipstick's
probably gonna pop, since you're pressurizing stuff before the
turbo(like, say, the crankcase via the crankcase breather tube, which
comes out at the turbo inlet).
By the way, single-pass ICs almost never leak. The IC inlet o-ring,
however, is infamous for leaking like a sieve. $.75 cent part I
think.
