: Hub/axle Bolt size?

Thanks to all who answered.  In my case it is a 17mm hex head.
I "developed" a rattle somewhere in the axle hub area, very annoying, would
get a metallic/plastic rattle everytime I  hit a bump in the road.
Especially noticeable at low speed with window open.
Removed the wheel and bumped around with a rubber mallet.  Seemed almost
like loose CV noise so I figured I'd make sure hub was tight, it was.
Turned out that when I did prevent maint on the caliper guide pins,  I did
not get both "pressure" springs that sit on top of the pads, fully under the
caliper.
This was allowing the pads to bounce around a bit when there was no pressure
on the brakes.
