versions of the Motronic present in the 200q20v... the
S1 had Motronic 1.7 where the 3B uses a M2.3 engine
management system. So I really doubt that the 2.3
would have problems handling more than 300 HP... From
what I knew, the distributor's barrier was somewhere
around 400 HP but I never understood why it was such a
problem when the S1 and the 90 IMSA didn't have the
coil per plug setup yet. Maybe some people encountered
cross-firing issues while using the wrong distributor
rotor? I don't know but at least I'm pretty sure that
the distributor setup can handle more than some people
think and the best proof is the 90 IMSA and the S1.
I think I'll post to the 20vKruemmer_files list and
ask if someone knows exactly what are the limits of
the dizzy setup and why...
