No subject

dist., there was excessive crankcase pressure, which would be usually rooted
in a bad (read obstructed or collapsed) breather hose.  Given that the hose
and system appears to be in good working order on my car, I'm thinking it's
time to look elsewhere.  "If-then" is not following.

I'd actually mentioned this in the past as well, but maybe some things bear
repeating...

There is no shaft seal in the distributor, only a reverse spiral grooved
shaft to pump excess oil back down the shaft.  If you have oil in the dist
you have excess crankcase back pressure.  Clean and repair you CC breather
system.
