Ya know, I've tried to send this twice so see how third time goes...

Actually sounds interesting, but alas can't make it.  I've got a gig this
Saturday, and not quite ready to make the haul down to Portland...that is
unless someone wants to chage that P to an S, as in SIR

to date my only reckless abandon treatment of the car has been at
autocrosses, as I have too much respect for back road safety to pursue such
insanities there, and been wanting to experience a track.

   2 upcoming Northwest Audi club events. There is the Drivers Ed and
Autocross at Bremerton, Saturday, September 6th, and a Drivers Safety
and Skills Enhancement at PIR on Friday, September 12th. Check out the

(http://www.audiclubnw.org/). It would be great to get together with
some fellow 200 owners, especially Avants. I know that there are a lot
of locals on this list, and it would be great to put a face with the
name.
