3B distributor trouble

The last time we all talked about this problem (Fall 2001), there was in
response both a distributor group buy (from Zygmunt, www.bimmerparts.com) for a
little cheaper than individual dealer prices (~$230?) and a creation of replica
metal gears for quite a bit less, like $30? Derek Pulvino and Bernie Benz? I'm
pretty sure there aren't any gears left, and it took a while to find a facility
that could manufacture them - a drawing might be available though. I got a
whole distributor back then but it's still sitting in the box (new distributors
come with metal gears). Probably should get those timing belt parts and do that
stuff this fall as well...
