BTW, I just checked the spacer size when remounting the BBS, now refinished.
The H&R spacers are 12mm not 15mm as I stated earlier.  My recall is you can go
down to 10mm safely.

Agree that too much off center will threaten bearing longevity, but IMO 12mm is
not major.
