distributor replacement best practices?

As far an removing the anti-tamper device, I found a Dremel to be just the
ticket. I ground two flats on opposite sides of the bolt and clamped one of
my Vice Grips on the bolt. Once it was broken free, it turned easily. I
have read of others cutting a slot in the bolt and using a large flat-blade
screwdriver. I suppose you could also grid the entire head off of the bolt.
