I must confess I actually own a 200q20v (just purchased it the week before
last as a daily driver) and assumed it shared the same fuel system as the
200 turbo sohc. I guess we all know what happens when we assume...

I would like to be the first to say, Todd Taylor, that the 1991 200q20v runs
a Bosch Motronic electronic fully adaptive sequential fuel
ignition/injection system similar to that found in the 92 urS4, and you are
therefore wrong :)

The 3B engine in the 1991 200q20v was a precursor to the AAN of the urS4/S6,
if you had a 200q20v you would have known that.

It's true leaky injectors are more of a known problem on the CIS injection
as found on earlier 200 and 5000 turbos (among other cars).
