Stalling and rough idle at startup w/ warm or cold engine

Brief question to point me in the right direction...

My car starts up fine but immediately idles roughly and will stall if you
dont give it some gas.  As you give it gas there is some hesitation.

This is both in warm and cold start conditions.
After about 1 minute the problem resolves and idles normally.  There is no
smoke from the tailpipe on startup.  Briefly I visually checked the
vacuum lines and they look intact. No fault codes or check engine light.

Any suggestions?  Sound familiar to anyone?
