17x8", 32mm offset?

I would think perfectly suitable.  The offset of the standard wheels
is 35, so you'd only be moving the center line of the wheel/tire combo
in 2mm so no problem on the inside.  I believe there's plenty of room
to accomodate any of the appropriate size tires that one might choose.
