The only thing I'd caution about the AVS Sports are that they
get really noisy when they wear down. Otherwise, they are awesome
in the wet and the dry.

The Dunlop SP9000 is the quietest high performance tire I've driven,
but the dry grip is lacking. Wet performance is great.

I'll get Kumho MX next time around, 245/40R17.
