Brake upgrade questions

It still takes several sets of UFO rotors to pay for the cost of a BIRA
upgrade (plus several more if you don't already happen to have all 16" or
17" wheels) so you really can't justify a brake upgrade on economic grounds.
But given that BIRA is the least expensive upgrade option, I joined last
winter and tried to rouse interest on this list for a group buy of UFO-sys2
brackets without too much luck. I had some tax troubles and there was
misunderstanding about the process, so neither I nor anyone else got any
UFO-sys2 brackets. I have been musing about trying again next winter, but
still don't know that I will have that much free cash (since I do need
wheels + tires).
