Bernie,
 The way I see it, the BIRA system would be a bit of cash up front,  with far 
fewer problems down the road. UFO's would be a bit less cash[approx 1/3  the 
BIRA system] up front, but the inevitable warping down the road  requiring 
turning and/or replacement. I also want the piece of mind that I can  get on the 
brakes without thinking, "am I going to warp them doing this?".
 Your statement "proper UFO system" is intriguing though! Please,  explain 
how to achieve this!
