I think that you are right, Kneale and I understood that. But my counter
point is that: 1/4" down from 7mm down to start with on irregular turf
amounts to about a pint or two of oil, when a tablespoon full spread over
the outside of the tranny is a much more sensitive and visible measure of a
leak, relative to a clean, no leak tranny.
