anti-lock brake off switch/diff lock bypass

Right, I believe the system is functional b/c of the abs turns off when
you lock the diff, but I guess the the switch is not functioning since
it trips the same relay that the diff lock does.
I will remove the switch and see......
I know in the past we talked about bypassing the speed sensor for the
diff lock, but I am curious if anyone currently has done this so you
can go over 15 mph and keep the diff locked, and how has this affected
their traction, momentum goes a long way to get you up snow and ice
covered terrain....i have tried keeping the speed down but always wind
up having slippage and the diff lock disengages and I have a difficult
time getting up my hill starting with slippage at 10 mph......if you hit
it at 30 it goes much smoother but the switchbacks are tough to
negotiate at that speed....my urq can climb the hill much better with
the diffs locked and the exact same wheels....it is several hundred
pounds lighter and shorter.... I would like to remove the speed limiter
on the rear diff and see how it goes.

David,
Your switch "may" not be working, but, The anti lock is supposed to
turn
off when you lock the diff. By definition no slip when locked so ABS is
"useless" in that situation. If the switch cycles dash light on and
off,
and ABS via test, I'd say you are fine. Yes switch pulls out like all
the
rest.

Got caught in the snow the other day to discover my anti-lock brake
switch is not functioning. Anti-lock turns off when rear diff is
locked. Is this one of the switches you can just pry out??? Any btdt
appreciated. tia
