gas pedal

The cover on my gas pedal has come off the assembly.  Looks like the plastic
piece on the underside that secures to the pedal has broken off.  Can anyone
advise whether I can purchase the cover alone or whether I have to acquire
the entire assembly?  Of course a used one in working condition would be OK
too, though they don't show up too often where I am (Central VA).
