Window/Regulatorr Question

Listers:

I removed a window regulator out of a junked car yesterday, but had the ease of being able to remove the internal window frame to pop off the cir-clip holding the window to the regulator track.  

I am not so sure I want to mess with the alignment on my donee 20v window/door, so I am curious to see if anyone has any BTDT trick or suggestion on trying to dislocate the window from the regulator track without having to remove the internal frame.  It was a serious pain trying to do it without removal of the internal frame, but I need to find out if someone may have the answer.
