1.4 bar low boost and recent owner impressions

Did you test the little vacuum hose that runs inside a "protective" sleeve
behind the heat shield?  When I lost 1.7 on the gauge last spring, I found
mine literally was "toast" in the middle, so I ran a length from the
connector at the back of the engine out to the passenger fender and back to
the connection at the front.
