Gordy-

I used 3M spray glue made just for this purpose. It has an adjustable nozzle
allowing it to give a nice broad but thin spray. Practice on your neighbors
driveway first to get a feel for the spray pattern.

I sprayed both surfaces lightly and evenly, carefully smoothed it back with
a thin 8x11 cardboard sheet, and closed the roof to ensure a good position
for drying.

The headliner now looks like shit, and has come unglued again.......

Go to an upholstery shop. It ain't worth your time....
