My car has 225/50-16 ES100s and they seem to suit the car very well.
They are predictable in the dry and good in the rain. No doubt they're
scary when the ambient temps get below freezing, so I also have a set
of 15" wheels with dedicated snows.
My brother just bought a sweet '91 V8 5 speed that has the stock wheels
and 215/60-15 ES100s. He like them too.

I'm running 225/45r16 ES 100's on my '91 coupe q (on 16x8" rims). Nice
tires, work well on track too, but they do get noisier as they wear. At least I
think that's the noise, since the leaky exhaust, worn wheel bearings, squeaky
hatch, and high rpms all contribute quite a bit of background noise...
Most of the user reviews I've seen also comment on the noise increase, but
most performance summer tires do that, in my experience.
Anyone need a set of 15" rims? I've got BBS and fuchs that I won't need.
