There was a thread on this several years ago in which I relayed my DIY fix
using pieces of old rad hose ell bends starting with the block connection, a
next smaller ell glued/Si caulked inside the former, and another smaller
straight section coupled to the still good original rubber at the rear of
the head with a short internal piece of Cu water tubing.  Going great!
