Weird CC fan behavior

The blower motors in both my '89 200q and my '91 v8q are original.  The V8's first life was in CT.  The 200's in MI and the WI.

How long since you changed the blower motor?  Can't be any original blower
motors left in any 1991 models.  Probably time for the third (or fourth)
blower motor.
