I've found a lot of little hardware like that is obtainable from a 
local VW dealer; for example, the crush washers on the fuel rail 
banjo fitting are available from VW dealers for a few bucks, and you 
get a bunch.

   I wouldn't bother expending any energy trying to find another 
source aside from as VW/Audi dealer; given the potential cost 
difference it's just not worth the time/hassle.
