Ken and Pete,
It's very important to identify the source of the leak.  Tthe "pump to
rack" hose is often the source of a sudden leak which will appear to be
coming from either the pump or the rack.  This is the hose with the rubber
sheath.  It tends to fail suddenly with a pinhole that will leak a lot of
fluid quickly.  The sheath hides the real source of the leak because the
fluid runs either up or down and shows up at the hose end.  You could cut
off the sheath to see if this is where the leak is coming from.  The sheath
serves no purpose as far as I can tell.

The last two times I found a puddle of green gold under one of my cars it
was due to a pin hole in this hose.
