91 200 TQ Wagon stalling

For a quick what-if test, unplug the MAF and see if you
get similar behavior.  I spaced out plugging mine back in
once and the car ran like you described; maybe you had
a momentary electrical problem and just need to clean the
contacts to prevent a recurrence.
