The autocheck and ECU/CC head signals are separate.   The autocheck 
signal is at a higher temperature, at least on the mechanical version 
of the sensor(wax piston actuator, thermocouple disk).

Also, nobody has mentioned that low coolant will cause the same 
warning; they're on the exact same circuit.
