camberplates

Hi bleaf, (I don't know your name, inasmuch as you don't sign your posts.)

If you have slotted the strut tower mounting holes sufficient to move the
stock upper spring perch against the side of the tower, that is the extent
of this additional adjustment, which can be accomplished either with strut
tower slots or by altering the bearing (camber) plate, no difference in the
available adjustment thus achieved.

A strut brace can further reduce excessive negative camber by distorting the
upper strut mounting rubber bushing in the outward direction. BTDT.

Assuming that your control arm rubber bushings are good, IMO your problem is
caused by the lowering springs which have adversely changed the suspension
geometery.  Further, this change in geometery has most probably introduced
much more bump steer.  Your excessive negative camber can be made equal,
side to side, by centering the subframe relative to the strut towers.

If your ride is stiff and looks cool, who cares about tire wear anyway?
