I just finished a 3000 mile round trip from CT to FL ..... oil level is 
same as when I left and oil temp was within a few needles-width whether 40 
degree ambient, 85 degree ambient, 75mph, or 100mph.  Running 5w40 synth & 
OEM filter.  Trip average was 25mpg with mostly 75-80mph with some periods 
at 90-100mph.
BTW, it was clear afterwards ..... this is the kind of usage these cars 
were made for ............ wow.

Coolant temps were as previously described
