Shifter bushing refresh BTDT?

Sounds to me like that ball at the end of the shifter lever where it meets
the tranny. These things get wobbly after a time and the metal is softer
than it should be. If you can remove it and are good with a ball-peon
hammer, you'll take car of the slop. Kinda like a rerivet ;-)
