Cracked intercooler

I cracked my intercooler a few weeks ago. On the driver's side, in the
plastic end cap, it cracked near where the upper hex bolt attaches to the
captive nut. It happened coincidentally within a few days of someone loaning
me his chip. Has anyone else ever had this happen? So now I am looking at
getting a replacement. Does anyone have a used one they're interested in
selling? The other option would be to try to get a custom intercooler with
non-plastic ends made. While this sounds like a great option to me, I am a
bit concerned that it may be overkill. Also, I'm sure that I could get a
used unit for much less money. Has anyone else gone the custom route? Any
thoughts or opinions would be greatly appreciated. There other option would
be to try to repair the cracked plastic. It was suggested to my to try to
epoxy to the plastic. I have no confidence in my skills with epoxy, and
would rather purchase a known working unit (aka not leaking).
It's been pretty interesting driving my car, and keeping the boost below 1
bar (and knowing that it finally is chipped)!
