Drifting Windshield Wiper park position.

i had this problem, i torqued the nut and lubed the linkage and that worked 
for a while but the real deal was the threads (? the tapered shaft and 
female receiver has those lines machined into it to hold the position) were 
stripped.....they did not look that bad but you could tell they had been 
trashed, i tried cleaning them up  and cutting some new ones but that 
didn't hold either.  i replaced the linkage (from shokan, i think it was 
like $40) and it works fine since
